The New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also expected to have interest in free agent running back Le'Veon Bell, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

The problem is that Bell is said to be seeking $50 million over the first two years of his deal, and La Canfora states that there is “plenty of skepticism” that Bell will actually reach that number.

The 27-year-old officially hit the open market on Wednesday after the Pittsburgh Steelers elected not to use their transition tag on him, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Bell sat out the entire 2018 campaign due to a contract dispute with the Steelers. It marked the second straight year that Bell was at odds with Pittsburgh, as he also held out through Week 1 in 2017.

When Bell does play, though, he is one of the best running backs in the league.

Bell, who played his collegiate football at Michigan State University, was originally selected by Pittsburgh in the second round (48th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He actually had an underwhelming rookie campaign, rushing for 860 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging a meager 3.5 yards per carry, but the following year, Bell racked up 1,361 yards and eight scores and hauled in 83 receptions for 854 yards and three touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and First-Team All-Pro selection.

Le'Veon Bell has now made three trips to Honolulu and has earned First-Team All-Pro honors twice. Most recently, he racked up 1,291 yards and nine scores in addition to catching 85 passes for 655 yards and a couple of touchdowns in 2017.
