Kyler Murray is hoping to turn his passion for football into a career but realizes he has to give up his baseball career to do so.

Murray stopped by the PFT Live set on Radio Row to talk about his desire to get in the NFL. He told the hosts that, much as he'd like to do what Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson did — which is play two professional sports at the same time — he knows that's not a possibility.

“I wish I could play both. I know it’s highly, highly, highly unlikely. It’s not an easy decision. I’ve been playing both my whole life, since I was 4 years old. I’ve got to make a decision.”

Murray has been nothing but a star player since he first signed on to play sports professionally. He was a first-round draft pick for the Oakland A's, though he'd be interested in joining the Oakland Raiders if he does become a football player.

However, the Raiders won't be in Oakland much longer. Despite that, Murray has nothing but good things to say about the A's organization.

“The A’s organization has been nothing but phenomenal to me through this whole process. I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else.”

If it turns out that Murray does, indeed, become a football player, he may end up playing for an entirely different team in an entirely different capacity. It should also be interesting to see if he ends up becoming a quarterback for a team and becoming a franchise player.
