Fantasy owners always know that there's a gamble with each lineup they deploy ahead of the new week. For Rob Huntze, his gamble had paid off on Monday, if not at all for a just a moment. Thanks to what was a mishap in DraftKings' system, one of the counted sacks during the Chicago Bears-Los Angeles Rams contest was changed to a tackle for loss, ending Huntze's perfect NFL lineup along with his massive earnings.

Huntze's expert precision in picking out just the right NFL lineups had briefly made him a $1 million winner, particularly thanks to his defensive selections of the Rams and Bears. Both teams had posted 92.79 points from their defensive efforts on Monday, which was reportedly the most out of any of the entries. Huntze quickly relished at the rare opportunity of winning the often-advertised million-dollar prize.

Shortly afterwards, according to Huntze's interview with ESPN, he got up to take his dog for a walk after texting a few family members and acquaintances about his grand earnings from the NFL game. Once he returned from his walk, he came back to check his computer to once more relish in the moment, but he was met with quite the opposite approach from his computer screen, which now displayed a grand total of $3,078.94.

Huntze stated that he was in disbelief at his earnings, and just wanted to make sure that he'd actually won the grand prize.

“Just to see myself on top,” he said. “And, then, boom.”

As the change of the sack made by Akiem Hicks turned into a tackle for loss, Huntze was in denial.

“It had to be a sack,” Huntze said. “There's no other way to look at it.”

The 41-year old insurance agent did state that he'll be back and ready for action in NFL Week 8, hoping to reclaim his once-treasured prize.
