The Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks faced off against each other in a hard-fought NFC Divisional playoff battle. When everything was said and done, the Packers were able to defeat the Seahawks by a final score of 28-23. It was a lot closer than it looked like it would be, but Green Bay is moving on to face to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.

Following the game, Packers' superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Seattle running back Marshawn “BeastMode” Lynch took some time to exchange jerseys. This is the ultimate sign of respect for players and they both played their college football at California.

Lynch came back from an absence from the NFL to help the Seahawks after they had injuries riddle their backfield. The Packers were able to hold Lynch in check for the most part, giving him just 26 yards on 12 carries. Despite the lack of yardage, Lynch did score two touchdowns on the ground.

Rodgers, on the other hand, had a very solid game for the Packers. He completed 16 of his 27 pass attempts for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Green Bay came into this matchup with many questioning just how good they really were. They went 13-3 in the regular season, but fans and media members alike thought they were overrated. Seattle was widely expected to pull off the upset over the Packers.

All of that being said, Rodgers and company got the win and only need one more win to reach the Super Bowl. Lynch did his best against the Packers, but it will be interesting to see if he comes back for more next season or rides into the sunset again.
