New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold had a stellar touchdown run on Thursday Night Football against the Denver Broncos to kick off Week 4 of the NFL season. It was so spectacular that Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Los Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James took to Twitter to react to the highlight play.

Sam Darnold has been a turnover machine since entering the NFL out of USC.

However, the youngster has shown flashes of brilliance with the Jets from time to time and most New York fans believe Sam Darnold would be better off without head coach Adam Gase calling the plays.

The NFL is in a better place when young quarterbacks are playing well, so the hope is that the new face of the Jets franchise can use this unbelievable TD run as a stepping stone to jump-start his NFL career.
