Former NFL great Peyton Manning is still keeping his options open for the next phase of his life and said he hasn't ruled out anything, besides maybe coaching. Just this offseason Manning has been linked to a general manager job and an announcing job, and those are both things that he could end up doing for his next career.

Manning said in terms of coaching he enjoys doing his camps, but he doesn't think that is something he is cut out to do full time.

“I haven’t really dismissed anything,” the former quarterback told USA TODAY Sports. “OK, I would probably say I dismiss coaching. I like teaching football. We have the football camp. it’s a great chance to teach football, teach about quarterback play. But a lot of people say, ‘You’d be a great coach.’ I’m not sure that’s true. Coaching, there are special skills there. Just because you were a good quarterback doesn’t necessarily mean you’d be a great coach.

“But sure, I haven’t dismissed anything. If there were an opportunity on the non-coaching side of it for a team in some capacity, wherever that may be, I’d certainly possibly have an interest in that. At the right time. And in the right place.”

One thing is sure about Mannings next job, he isn't rushing into it. He has made it clear that he is waiting for the right job to come along, and evidently, so far that hasn't happened.

Whenever the right job does come along, there is no doubt that Peyton Manning will excel at whatever it is, and who knows maybe that will end up being as a coach.
