Professional golfer Phil Mickelson had a little fun in the latest broadcast of ManningCast, trolling NFL legend Eli Manning for his, well, “cute” golf swing.

While Mickelson did comment on the Monday Night Football showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, he also went on to break down Eli's golf swing. And he certainly didn't hold back in what turned out to be a hilarious exchange.

Mickelson called Eli's swing “cute,” prompting a funny reaction from Eli's brother and fellow NFL icon, Peyton Manning. However, he did make an accurate analysis of what the former New York Giants quarterback can do to improve his stance.

“Overall, one word to describe it is ‘cute.' It's a cute little swing. The club is a little behind him and low going back. His arms are not in front of him, they get a little bit too flat. He has to use all of his athleticism to square the face. It's a pretty good golf swing, like I say it's cute, but it could be better,” Mickelson explained.

Eli Manning was probably expecting more than just a “cute” assessment, but hey, if there is someone who can give a credible golf tip, it's Phil Mickelson. His six major golf championships are not just for show, anyway.

For what it's worth, Mickelson was a great addition to the ManningCast show. Hopefully, though, he returns again and observes the progress of Eli's swing. The NFL great can certainly use it.
