Rob Lowe took the roasting of his NFL hat in stride, reacting with a perfect “Parks and Recreation” tweet. As Joe Buck read a promotional ad during Sunday's NFC Championship game for Fox's new show “9-1-1: Lone Star”, the camera panned to Lowe who is the star of the show.

Nothing really notable about that scene, except for what Lowe was wearing. Lowe's favorite team is the Indianapolis Colts so instead of wearing a San Francisco 49ers or Green Bay Packers hat, he went for the more generic NFL hat.

Fans instantly started to roast him for the decision with many making fun of him for cheering for the NFL rather than a specific team. It was all quiet from Lowe who was taking the roasting in silence until Monday night. Lowe tweeted out a picture of him wearing the hat with the caption:

”I LITERALLY love football! And teams. Every one of them! They are all wonderful! Go teams!”
-Chris Traeger

Traeger is the character that Lowe played in “Parks and Recreation”. A lot of celebrities have issues with people having fun at their expense so it was good to see that Lowe could take it in stride.

“9-1-1: Lone Star” released Sunday night after the NFC Championship game, and that is a good thing for Rob Lowe. If they were going to premiere it after the Super Bowl, that means they probably would have shown him during the Super Bowl too. If that would have happened, what would have Lowe worn? Maybe a shirt with Roger Goodell's face on it.
