The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made quite a few massive moves this offseason, some of which didn't include a particular New Orleans Saints defensive back. Chief among the offseason moves was signing free agent Tom Brady.

Bringing in the superstar soon-to-be Hall of Fame quarterback is something in which a lot of teams were interested. Arguably the greatest of all time, even if his play is seeing a bit of a decline, Brady is one of the best in the game.

That's not all they did though. Tampa Bay made a slew of other moves. The biggest of which was trading for recently un-retired superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Now the Buccaneers have an absolutely lethal offense, and just about everyone has them marked as favorites for the 2020 season.

However, not everyone is sold on them. Saints cornerback Janoris Jenkins has a mind of his own. According to Janoris, appearing on GMFB, the defensive back says that Tampa Bay needs to produce on the field first.

“We only worry about the New Orleans Saints,” Jenkins said, via ProFootballTalk. “We’re not worried about nobody right now. We gonna take it one game at a time, one play at a time and just get better and compete every week. We understand, as you mentioned, that Tampa Bay got some new weapons, new quarterback. It’s paper, you gotta produce on the field. We just worry about the New Orleans Saints at the moment.”

Jenkins is definitely not wrong here. Too many times a new “super team” has been dubbed and crowned the preseason champions. Only to have the season flop and everyone left wondering what could have gone wrong.

Still though, even Jenkins would have to admit that this is a very scary team on paper. That passing offense might be giving defenses nightmares all season long.

We'll have to wait and see if all this offseason success translates to the regular season and postseason. It looks like Jenkins will not be sold until he sees it actually happening.
