With three NFL Playoff games on the slate for Sunday, some of the biggest names in football commentary were in the booth. That included the tandem of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, who were assigned to call the Wild Card bout between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles. Well, when discussing the rest of Sunday's slate, Aikman didn't even try to hide his disdain that he was not in the booth for the Cowboys-49ers game set for Sunday afternoon.

Aikman said that he thought the Cowboys' clash with the 49ers would be a great game, before not-so-subtly hinting that he wishes he could have been in the booth to watch his former team. His remarks resulted in Buck bursting out in laughter, though based on the expression on Aikman's face, his comments were clearly not said in jest.

It's hard to blame Aikman for wishing he was at AT&T Stadium to catch the Cowboys game, especially considering the nature of the blowout that the Bucs handed to the Eagles. Aikman played 12 seasons for the Cowboys throughout his career, winning three Super Bowls, making six Pro Bowls, and eventually getting inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It's only natural for the former Cowboy to want to see his team as they gear up for what has the potential to be a deep run in the playoffs.

Unfortunately for Aikman, his superiors assigned him to the Eagles-Bucs game, and it's safe to say he wasn't too happy with that decision.
