Current UFC heavyweight champion — and former UFC light heavyweight champion — Daniel Cormier is no stranger to making bold claims as both a fighter and mixed martial arts analyst. However, the highly-talented grappler made his latest bold claim by stepping way out of his usual comfort zone en route to accusing the NFL of rigging games.

Cormier, who is a well-known Louisana native and well-documented New Orleans Saints fan, posted the following statement on social media on Sunday evening:

Of course, Cormier's Saints were the victim's of quite the blown call on Sunday afternoon against the now Super Bowl-bound Los Angeles Rams. With everyone and their mother chiming in and commenting on the now infamous debacle involving Rams defensive back Nickell Robey-Coleman and Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis, Cormier has become just the latest to do so while making a wildly courageous statement in the process.

Nonetheless, the NFL's ratings continue to skyrocket while — quite honestly — it really doesn't matter which franchises play in the Super Bowl as the annual event is guaranteed to draw a massive crowd next month. However, instead of the seemingly deserving Saints becoming the AFC representative, the Rams will be battling it out with Tom Brady and the heralded New England Patriots in what is sure to be another high-powered affair.
