How the mighty have fallen.  Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young has just been arrested under suspicion of drunk driving.

The Associated Press reports that Young was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Monday in the Missouri City area of suburban Houston. Young, who showed a Missouri City address as a permanent address, was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and released after posting a $500 cash bond.

In an official statement from the Fort Bend Sheriff's Office, who performed the arrest on the former NFL great, Young was pulled over and, when he opened the window, the arresting officer “noticed slurred speech and a strong smell of alcoholic beverage.” Additionally, Vince Young was offered a series of sobriety tests, but according to the Sheriff's Office, he “flunked every sobriety test they gave to him.”

This isn't the first time Young has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Texas. In 2017, he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, and served 18 months of probation after pleading guilty in Austin.

What's more, Young has faced a series of other troubles since retiring from the field. In addition to the $34 million he earned in a salary, he received more than $30 million in endorsements from various companies. However, by September of 2012, it was reported that he'd spent most of his money, and as a result, he was suffering from financial problems.

In January 2014, after being pursued by a payday loan company, Vince Young filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. He later reached a settlement with the company to pay back the debt.
