Not that it should come as much of a surprise, but Oakland Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict is not a fan of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Burfict, who was suspended for the remainder of the season as a result of his hit on Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle back on Sept. 29, does not feel he was given a fair shake:

“It was bull—,” Burfict said, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic. “I was making a football play. I could see if it was a fine or something, but not a suspension, let alone for the whole season. It kind of seems like there was a target on my head. I mean, there has always been a target on my head.”

Burfict tried to appeal his ban, but it was denied:

“I met Roger Goodell in New York, and he was a total b—-,” Burfict said. “He was a b—-. He didn't let anybody speak. He rushed us in and out of the meeting. The meeting was bull—. He already had the suspension in his hand.”

The 29-year-old was sounding off on people comparing him to Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Myles Garrett, who hit Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the head with a helmet on Thursday night.

Burfict noted that he only makes football plays and that he has never done anything to warrant comparisons to Garrett.

Of course, based on Burfict's history (he has been suspended 13 times since entering the league in 2012), his comments may fall on deaf ears.
