The New York Giants and Miami Dolphins play in an inter-conference battle on Sunday. It's time to continue our NFL odds series and make a Giants-Dolphins Week 13 prediction and pick.

The Giants and Dolphins have both been trying to turn their seasons around of late. Miami has won four games in a row, while the Giants have won three of their last five. The Dolphins will look to extend their winning streak on Sunday as they have surged back into the AFC Wild Card picture. The postseason may be out of reach for the Giants but they did have a nice win on Sunday at home vs. their division rival the Philadelphia Eagles. Miami comes into this Week 13 matchup as solid favorites over the Giants.

Why The Giants Can Cover The Spread

New York has looked a little better of late, but they still can't get much of anything going on the offensive side. The Giants fired Jason Garrett only to score one touchdown in their Week 12 win over the Eagles. Daniel Jones has been inconsistent this season, as has the Giants' offensive line. Jones will be out injured Sunday as it looks like Mike Glennon will get the start in his absence. New York has been unable to get the running game going since the return of Saquon Barkley, and the Giants receivers have struggled to stay healthy all season. The Giants have receivers Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard listed as questionable again on Sunday.

The Dolphins have been hot of late, winning their last three home games by eight or more points. New York might not be in the best spot for a cover or a win this week in South Florida.

Why The Dolphins Can Cover The Spread

The Dolphins have been hot of late on both sides of the ball. They dominated the Carolina Panthers in Week 12, and will look to feast on another weaker NFC opponent this week. Tua Tagovailoa has been better each week it seems, running the fast-paced Miami offense efficiently and in rhythm. The Dolphins' defense is allowing under 12 points per game across the four-game winning streak, and Miami looks like the team many picked to make the postseason this Summer.

A win on Sunday would get Miami to 6-7 and in position to contend for a Wild Card spot down the stretch of the regular season. The Dolphins are also 4-0 against the spread on their winning streak, and have a good chance to extend that streak as well on Sunday. Miami comes in playing better than the Giants on both sides of the ball, and should be able to win and cover at home this weekend.

Final Giants-Dolphins Prediction & Pick

This might be close for a quarter or two, but take the Dolphins to cover and win vs. an inconsistent Giants team this Sunday. Miami was one of the better teams in the NFL in November, and they will look to continue their strong play at home in a very winnable (and coverable) spot vs. New York. The Dolphins are 3-3 at home this season, but have won their last three in Miami. Bank on Miami to cover and move above .500 on their home field for the season this Sunday.

Final Giants-Dolphins Prediction & Pick: Dolphins -6.5 (-106)
