A week has passed since Colin Kaepernick's canceled workout with the NFL turned live-streamed throwing session at a high school field. Since then, the polarizing quarterback and social rights advocate has not found a team in the league.

However, according to his attorney Mark Geragos, there is some lingering interest in Kaepernick. Speaking on the Adam Carolla podcast this week, he detailed interest from two separate teams.

“One who is legitimately in need of a quarterback who had a very poor showing on Sunday and has got an owner that I don’t think gives a sh-t,” Geragos said, via the New York Post.

Though Geragos won't announce who is interested, speculation leads to two teams potentially interested: the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears. Both need a quarterback, as their starters had poor performances in Week 11.

Led by second-year quarterback Kyle Allen, the Panthers have not seen production out of the quarterback position with Cam Newton sidelined for the season. Last week, in a blowout loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the University of Houston product threw four interceptions to no touchdowns.

The Bears, unlike the Panthers, are not without their starter. However, they need a quarterback, with Mitchell Trubisky regressing mightily after a Pro-Bowl campaign in 2018. The No. 2 overall pick in 2017 did not finish the team's loss to the Los Angeles Rams for a hip injury. Many believe the injury was a cover-up for poor performance.

Speculation can give us teams that could be interested. But, without any concrete names in the mix, it appears as if Colin Kaepernick will not be playing NFL football in 2019.
