The story was relayed by InTouch Weekly in a recent article. According to them, Jay Cutler, who is going through a divorce, was on a trip with his friend's family. Apparently, during the trip, the ex-NFL quarterback was caught in the act with his friend's wife, obviously angering his friend.
“While they were all enjoying their vacation, the husband “confronted” them about their affair, the insider reveals, adding that he learned the two had been “hooking up for a long time.””
“The friend reached out to [ex-wife Kristin Cavallari], so that’s how she found out,” the source says. “She just wants to distance herself from all of this.”
Cutler is currently in the middle of divorce proceedings with his ex-wife Kristin Cavallari. The two had a rather public and messy breakup, with the ex-NFL QB scrubbing his IG of pictures of his now ex-wife. Now, it seems that Cavallari's “such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper” claims hold a lot more weight.
Cutler has recently tried to get back into the NFL in a different capacity. A few months ago, it was reported that the ex-Bears and Dolphins QB is interested in commentating league games. We'll see if these recent allegations affect his bid in any way.
