Former Green Bay Packers safety Kentrell Brice is currently an unrestricted free agent. After the NFC North franchise previously elected to not tender Brice as a restricted free agent this offseason, Brice became free to sign with any team that would have him.

It is also worth noting that Brice was interested in returning to Green Bay before the Packers managed to sign former Chicago Bears safety Adrian Amos. As a result of not being able to return to the Packers, Brice has turned his attention elsewhere and has received interest from at least three teams, according to a weekend report from Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Brice, who originally broke into the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech, appeared in 36 regular season games en route to making 14 starts as a member of the Packers over the course of last three seasons. Registering 99 total tackles, six pass defenses and one interception, Brice started the 2018-19 season as one of Green Bay's starting safeties before battling injuries throughout the campaign.

Despite the fact that the Packers encountered quite the disappointing season in 2018-19, Green Bay is surely primed for a bounce back year come 2019-20. Because the Packers still possess the services of future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center, there is always a chance for the team to be successful. However, the NFC North might just be the toughest division in all of football with both the aforementioned Bears and Minnesota Vikings serving as legitimate contenders in the NFC.
