The NFL offseason is a time for massive shakeup in the league. Already, we've seen blockbuster trades and record-setting deals even before free agency starts. However, the teams aren't the only one mixing it up for next season, as the major league broadcasters are also shuffling their talents around.

The latest NFL broadcasting bombshell was Joe Buck joining Troy Aikman in the booth for ESPN's Monday Night Football. With the departure of their iconic voices, FOX Sports are now looking for their own splash. They are reportedly tapping Hall of Fame DE Michael Strahan to replace Aikman. (via Michael McCarthy)

Strahan has been involved in the NFL scene as a broadcaster years after his retirement from the league. He's already part of FOX's presentation as a pre-game host during Thursday Night Football. The transition from show host to analyst might be difficult, but Strahan's experience in front of a camera should make things easier for him.

Prior to being in front of the television, Strahan was a dominant force for the Giants. He is currently tied with Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J Watt for the most sacks in a single regular season. He has also made multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro appearances, and helped New York win one of their Super Bowls against Tom Brady.

It will be interesting to see who they will pair Strahan with on the booth. There are many names floating around as potential commentators for next season. These include Brady and ex-New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton.
