Free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will probably not return to the Los Angeles Rams in 2019-20 with the reigning NFC Champions allowing the veteran defender test the open market this offseason. However, it now seems increasingly more likely that Suh will remain on the West Coast going forward.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and NFL Network is reporting that Suh would like to stay out West with the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Chargers all in play at the moment.

“NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported free agent Ndamukong Suh is not expected back with the Rams,” NBC Sports' Rotoworld relayed on Monday.

“Per RapSheet, the Rams were disappointed with Suh's 2018 regular season performance. Sunday's reinvestment in Dante Fowler at $14 million created another obstacle for Suh to be re-signed. Per Rapoport, Suh wants to stay with a team on the west coast, potentially San Francisco, Seattle, or the L.A. Chargers.”

While the 49ers continue on the team's upward trajectory, both the Seahawks and Chargers reached the postseason in 2018-19, which could entice Suh in the end as he just recently made an appearance in Super Bowl LIII as a member of the Rams. However, San Francisco might have the brightest future of each of these teams as the 49ers are building a solid roster — slowly but surely, though.

With the new league year slated to kick off on Wednesday, Suh could find his next NFL home sooner rather than later with interest growing. As a result, he is currently in line to play for three different teams in as many seasons.
