Before the Pro Bowl on Sunday, those playing in the NFC versus AFC All-Star game received the heartbreaking news that basketball legend Kobe Bryant had passed away.

Bryant and his daughter Gianna Marie (GiGi for short) along with three others died on Sunday in a fatal helicopter accident outside of Los Angeles. Kobe passed away at 41. GiGi, 13.

The news of Bryant's death sent shockwaves throughout the sports world. While crowds at NBA games fell silent, players playing in the Pro Bowl honored the late Bryant.

After scoring a touchdown for the NFC, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams paid tribute to Bryant. He pointed to the sky, looked at the camera and three up the 2-4 to honor Bryant. He dunked shortly after.

Classy move, Adams.

Though the NFL and NBA are different sports, Bryant's death stormed through the hearts of all athletes and those who enjoy the game.
