Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall had some issues when trying to move into his new home in Weston, Florida, with a video of his encounter with security going viral.

In the video posted, Marshall is clearly not happy—and for great reason. He had the cops called on him while he had two children in the car because he was “not on the list” at his new gated community.

Marshall seems to believe (again with great reason) that there were a number of better ways the situation could have been handled instead of just calling the cops on him.

The fact that his children were in the car only make this situation that much more disturbing. It's really hard to understand how he was seen as a threat with his kids in the car—at the gate of a community where he was simply asking to go to his house.

You could hear the distress and hurt in Marshall's voice as he was recording.

This is the problem, I come here, you feel uncomfortable. My first day moving into my new house, because my name's not on the list you call the cops. Now you call the cops. No, you're not trying to do your job. There was no threat for you to call the cops. This what we're seeing every single day. This what we're seeing every single day, I got two kids in the car right now. We're in Weston, Florida, one of the most affluent areas. Yes I know there's other black people that live here, I know that.

It is not the easiest video to watch as he is rightfully upset about the racial profiling and the injustices happening in the world right now.

Hopefully everything works out properly for Brandon Marshall and he gets treated the right way. Let's hope we don't see much more of these interactions moving forward.
