The Ottawa Senators selected German forward Tim Stützle with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft on Tuesday evening. Although Stützle was selected after New York Rangers winger Alexis Lafrenière and Los Angeles Kings center Quinton Byfield, it was the Senators at No. 3 overall that stole the show as a result of the very early portion of the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft.

The Senators notably brought in some celebrity assistance upon selecting Stützle with Ottawa quickly creating an absolutely epic first NHL moment for the German center.

One of the more notable faces on television for more than a few generations, longtime Jeopardy! host — and a Canadian-American that attended the University of Ottawa — Alex Trebek was called in to announce the Eastern Conference franchise's top pick in 2020. Doing an exceptional job per usual, Trebek even utilized the well-known Jeopardy! format to reveal that the Senators had settled on selecting Stützle.
