It has been almost two weeks since Nick Young decided to sign with the Golden State Warriors on a one-year, $5.2 million deal.

This didn't take long for Young to chime in with an interesting answer about who he believes is the best shooter in Golden State.

During his heyday, Steve Kerr was one of the best shooters in the league over his 15-year NBA career where he shot 45.4 percent from beyond the arc. This included finishing above 50 percent in four different seasons.

Kerr may not have been a superstar like his guards Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson, but he was a marksman from 3-point range that helped him win a 3-point contest at All-Star weekend. Keep in mind, he possesses the highest career 3-point percentage for any player that has taken at least 250 3-pointers in league history.

There have been many videos that have surfaced over the last few years of him facing Curry in shooting contests and drills where he has more than held his own.

Beyond that, it's clear that Kerr has garnered the respect of his players with Young quickly following suit with that similar sentiment. He has a tremendous impact on the organization and should continue over next season with more shooting from players like Young added to the mix.
