Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has finally added a very requested feature to the 4-player platform fighting game. Voice acting has now been added to the game, allowing each character on the roster to grunt, yell and give off ridiculous one-liners during each battle. Along with voice acting, usable items have been added to the game, with each item serving as a reference to a nickelodeon cartoon show or nickelodeon memorabilia.

In an announcement made over on the official Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Twitter page, the voice acting and items update was made available around the same time as the announcement, along with the announcement of all the voice actors that were available to fill each role. While some well-known voice actors such as Tom Kenny were able to reprise their voice acting roles (such as Spongebob), many other voice actors were selected to fill the roles of older characters due to various reasons, such as the original voice actors passing away, being retired, or aging out of the role.

Here is the list of every voice actor represented in the game:

A Twitter user named Jay Kreuz also gave off a detailed list of all the new voice actors represented in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, as well as a short explanation as to why the original voice actors were not available to reprise their roles:

  • Shredder – originally voiced by James Avery in TMNT (1987), who passed away in 2013. Jim Cummings was one of several voice actors throughout the 1987 series to fill in for Avery when he was unavailable.
  • Oblina – originally voiced by Christine Cavanaugh, who retired from voice acting in
2001 and passed away in 2014. This is Alex Cazares' first time performing the character.
  • Nigel Thornberry – originally voiced by Tim Curry, who suffered a stroke in 2012 and has
largely retired from acting. Jim Meskiman is a noted celebrity impressionist, and this is his first
    time performing the character.
  • Toph – originally voiced by Jessie Flower, who was still a child when originally performing the role from 2006-2008. This is Vivian Vencer's first time performing the role.
  • Aang – originally voiced by Zach Tyler Eisen in the series, who was still a child when voicing the
role from 2005-2008. This is Justin Sardella's first time performing the role.
  • Reptar – a variety of actors provided his lines and vocalizations in the original Rugrats (1991) series. Fred Tatasciore currently provides Reptar's voice in the reboot, Rugrats (2021).
  • Lincoln Loud – originally performed by a variety of child actors on The Loud House, Bentley Griffin currently provides his voice on the show.
  • April O'Neil – originally performed by Renae Jacobs in TMNT (1987), who has largely retired
from voice acting. This is Abby Trott's first performance in the role.
  • Garfield – most famously voiced by Lorenzo Music in Garfield and Friends, who passed away in 2001. Frank Welker has performed the role in most official capacities since then.
  • Ren – originally voiced by John “K” Kricfalusi, who left the during the original run of Ren & Stimpy under acrimonious circumstances, and in more recent years has been the subject of allegations of sexual abuse and harassment. Billy West, who also voiced Stimpy, assumed the role upon John's departure.
  • Powdered Toast Man – most consistently voiced by Gary Owens in Ren & Stimpy, who passed away in 2015. This is David Kaye's first time performing the role.
