With the game tied at 98-all, and only 2.4 seconds remain, Chicago Bulls guard Jerian Grant made a dangerous inbounds pass from their backcourt that was stolen by Charlotte Hornets forward Nicolas Batum.

The Frenchman ran to their basket and shot a wide-open runner from the free-throw line.

It can be argued that Batum could have taken an extra dribble to attempt a closer shot, but he opted to pull-up early, and missed the shot. The game went into overtime where the Hornets came out victorious 108-104.

Good thing it's still in the preseason and the game had no bearing to it. If this happened in the regular season, Hornets fans might question if their starting small forward is worthy of his very hefty paycheck.
