It is set in the year 5012 AD, surrounding the war between man-made Androids and alien-created machines. In its core, the title is a hack-and-slash game, but kept its novelty through timely changeups of its playstyle. As of June 28, 2022, it has sold 6.5 million units worldwide, and the added availability to Nintendo Switch is sure to pump these numbers up.
