Philadelphia 76ers guard Nik Stauskas couldn't help but troll his old team, the Sacramento Kings, after the Sixers struck it rich with a pick swap that got them from the fifth to the third overall pick in the draft.
This golden nugget was all part of former general manager Sam Hinkie‘s brilliance after a trade made on July 10, 2015, which sent Artūras Gudaitis and Luka Mitrović to Sacramento for Stauskas, Carl Landry, Jason Thompson, an unprotected 2019 first-round pick, and the rights to swap first-round picks in 2016 and 2017.
Last year, Philly had used their own pick at No. 1.
On Tuesday, the Sixers drew the fifth spot and the Kings were drawn at No. 3, invoking the pick swap with no hesitation.

Stauskas, who was an afterthought (like most other players) in Sacramento, was plenty happy to throw shade at his old team on Twitter.
Rain drop, drop top, we be converting on the pick swap. #ThanksSac 😜

Keep in mind, Sacramento would have the 3rd pick instead of the 5th but Vlade gave Philly a pick-swap to salary dump Nick Stuaskas.

The rest of Twitter followed the train of trolldom for the hapless Kings, with the mastermind behind it all getting plenty of love.
