The Orlando Magic frontcourt is crowded.

Nikola Vucevic has blossomed into one of the most consistent offensive centers in the league over the past few seasons, becoming a double-double machine. Before the summer started, the Magic also had Aaron Gordon coming off a promising rookie season, looking like their power forward of the future.

Then the summer happened, and Orlando acquired Serge Ibaka and Bismack Biyombo.

Debate has sparked over who will start at center for Orlando after the franchise committed to Biyombo in the form of a four-year, $72 million deal.

Vucevic has been very candid on the topic.

From ESPN's Zach Lowe:

“I believe I will be the starter — the best player on the team, and the guy who has been here the longest,” Vucevic said. “I’m not taking anything away from Bismack. I just believe I should start.”

But how do you really feel, Nikola?

There's nothing wrong with a player being confident in himself and saying that he believes he should start. Vucevic should feel like he earned that spot in Orlando.

But the Magic didn't sign Biyombo for nothing. They plan to play him and are excited about the prospects of a defensive frontline that features Biyombo and Ibaka being one of the most terrifying combos in the entire league.

It will be an interesting situation to monitor in Orlando.
