Despite Dwyane Wade already having signed with the Chicago Bulls, the superstar guard’s name will seem to stick around in newsfeeds along with Miami Heat team president Pat Riley’s.

The former Heat guard’s departure from sunny South Florida to the Windy City has not been ideal, considering Wade’s contributions to the franchise. Reports surfaced about money being a major factor in the breaking down of talks between the two parties.

Curiously enough, according to a tweet by Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post, Pat Riley and Dwyane Wade have yet to be in contact with each other since the latter decided to change his address.

For all those wanting to see a repeat of what Cleveland Cavaliers majority owner Dan Gilbert said about LeBron James after the star’s free agency decision in 2010, those longings will remain as it is because Riley is an executive extraordinaire. The multi-awarded coach and widely respected front office person in Riley is too good to let his emotions get the better of him. He isn’t called “The Godfather” for nothing.

Besides, Wade and Riley have gone through alot together and they owe each other big time, so their next conversation should only be a matter of when.
