The Air Canada Centre stage didn't belong to the usual air-defying suspects, but to young Norman Powell, who took off a lead-up pass from Kyle Lowry and ran up court, taking off a step past the free-throw line and slamming one down with authority.

The 6-foot-4 Powell impressed with his skywalking antics as he cocked the ball back and launched off the hardwood, giving Toronto Raptors fans a show midway through the third quarter.

Norman Powell made the most of his start at shooting guard, tallying 16 points and seven rebounds in a 32-minute effort, cruising past the Los Angeles Lakers 113-80.
