Denver Nuggets rookie Bol Bol says Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James was his favorite player growing up.

Bol also says he watches Kevin Durant, Kristaps Porzingis and Kyrie Irving a lot.

“Actually, LeBron was my favorite player growing up,” Bol told Bryan Kalbrosky of Hoops Hype. “Kevin Durant is changing basketball with the way he plays. I’m a fan of Kristaps Porzingis. I also love Kyrie Irving. Those are the people I watch the most.”

Bol was selected by the Nuggets in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft. He's the son of Manute Bol. The 19-year-old averaged 21.0 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 2.7 blocks per game last season at Oregon. He underwent surgery to repair a left foot fracture in January, so that's why he fell to the Nuggets.

LeBron James is this generations Michael Jordan. All the youngsters who are in the NBA right now looked up to LeBron the same way The King looked up to Jordan.

The Nuggets rookie is 7-foot-2, so he probably watched a lot of tape of Kevin Durant and Kristaps Porzingis to see how they play in the NBA and take some tricks from them. The Nuggets are looking forward to integrating their new player into their system.
