Denver Nuggets forward Darrell Arthur has put his frontcourt teammate Nikola Jokic in a pedestal most third-year players don't find themselves in.

The mid-range specialist lauded the young Serbian and his unique set of skills on the court.

“I know he will be a Hall-of-Famer… I played with Marc (Gasol) and they kind of have a similar game but Nikola, the way he moves the basketball and the vision he has on the court is on another level,” said Arthur, according to Harrison Wind of BSN Denver.

Jokic's career is far from Hall of Fame at such a tender tenure in the league, but all the arrows are pointing in that direction, as he's improved in each and every season in the NBA, becoming more well-rounded and more assertive with the ball in his hands.

The 23-year-old is averaging 16.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.2 steals — numbers that would make any general manager salivate when thinking about the future of the franchise with such an agile big man leading the way.

The Nuggets find themselves in sixth place, trailing the Oklahoma City Thunder by a game — a spot they can take over if Paul Millsap can get back on the floor in the next week or two.

Denver has won six of its last seven games, including the last three heading into the break, thanks to Jokic's contributions, putting up 20.6 points and 12 rebounds through the last five games, including shooting a blistering 60 percent from deep.
