The Denver Nuggets are looking at Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo as a possible addition to the team next season.

Campazzo, 28, went undrafted back in 2013 and has since spent his entire professional basketball career playing for Real Madrid, where he averaged 10.1 points, 5.0 assists, and 2.4 rebounds during their 2018-19 campaign in the EuroLeague.

It is unclear if Campazzo will just be with the Nuggets during the summer or if he will sign a two-way contract with the team. Skill-wise, he definitely can play in the NBA. However, he's only listed as a 5'11, 165-pound guard, which will definitely make him a defensive liability, especially if he's tasked to defend guys like Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, or Kyrie Irving.

But this isn't the first time that a player under six feet made it to the NBA. After all, the Nuggets had Isaiah Thomas last season and he's two inches shorter than Campazzo. If the latter can prove that he has what it takes to thrive in the league, the Denver is making the right choice.

Over the past couple of years, NBA teams have signed point guards that have spent most of their careers playing overseas. Marcelo Huertas and Milos Teodosic are already at the tail-end of their careers when they were brought in by the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers respectively. Campazzo is still relatively young and can still play a good three-four year stretch in the league if he's capable of playing the way he did with Real Madrid.

A stint with the Nuggets' Summer League or G-League team will definitely give fans an idea of what Facu can do in the NBA.
