The Denver Nuggets will be missing two of their most important players when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night, as guards Gary Harris and Jamal Murray will both be sidelined, according to Harrison Wind of BSN Denver.

Harris sat out the Nuggets' win over the Houston Rockets on Friday night due to a groin issue. Meanwhile, Murray has missed four straight game due to an ankle injury he suffered during Denver's win over the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 25.

Harris had been plagued by leg injuries through the entire month of January, as he also missed five games from Jan. 8 through Jan. 15 due to hamstring issues.

The ailment also showed in his performance, as Harris averaged just 11.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 25.3 minutes per game last month while shooting a meager 39.3 percent from the floor, 29.2 percent from three-point range and 88 percent from the free-throw line.

On the season overall, the 24-year-old is registering 14.8 points, three boards, 2.7 assists and one steal across 29.9 minutes a night while making 42.5 percent of his field-goal attempts, 31.4 percent of his long-distance tries and 81.4 percent of his foul shots.

Murray had been enjoying a terrific month of January before going down, recording 18.2 points, 4.6 assists and 3.8 rebounds through 30.6 minutes per game, connecting on 43.4 percent of his shots, 45.2 percent of his triples and 79.5 percent of his free throws.

He is tallying 18.5 points, 4.9 dimes and 4.4 boards while shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from downtown and 83.6 percent from the charity stripe over the course of the 2018-19 campaign.

The Nuggets currently own a record of 36-15.
