What Denver Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas lacks in height, he definitely makes up for in confidence. Thomas has yet again proven how much conviction he has on himself as well as on his team by recently declaring that his Nuggets will categorically make it to the Playoffs this season.

In a tweet shared by the Denver Nuggets social media account, Thomas is quoted saying that he has no doubt that his team will be making a postseason run come April of next year.

This is definitely a lot of confidence coming from a man who has yet to play a single game with his new team and has had a limited time getting acquainted with his new teammates. Nevertheless, Thomas' belief does seem to have merit.

Last year, the Nuggets were extremely close to securing the eighth and final playoff spot. A defeat at the hands of eventual eight-seed Minnesota Timberwolves at the final day of the regular season ultimately sealed their fate. Nonetheless, they had a shot until the bitter end.

This year is even looking brighter for the Nuggets, who successfully re-signed both Nikola Jokic and Will Barton to lengthy (and pricey) extensions over the summer. The eventual arrival of highly-touted rookie Michael Porter Jr. (once he recovers from his back surgery) will only move to help the team's cause.

For his part, Isaiah Thomas looks to revive his career in Denver after a forgettable outing last season. He will be expected to provide firepower from the bench behind starting guards Jamal Murray and Gary Harris.
