Former Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade worked out together in Las Vegas early this Thursday, which was a normal thing to do for close buddies like those two. Denver Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas, however, didn’t seem to like that he was left off the workout, as he posted a hilarious comment on Wade’s Instagram post that shows the Miami Heat legend and Los Angeles Lakers star together on the Las Vegas Aces home court.

It’s been months since the Cavaliers nearly tore their original 2017-18 roster completely apart. Just before last February’s trade deadline, the Cavs’ front office went on a trading spree, sending Dwyane Wade to the Heat, Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye to the Los Angeles Lakers, Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose to the Utah Jazz, and Iman Shumpert to the Sacramento Kings.

Of all these deals, Thomas’ trade to the Lakers was arguably the most controversial. After all, he was the centerpiece of the package the Boston Celtics gave to the Cavs in exchange for superstar guard Kyrie Irving.

There were also rumors of a rift inside the Cavs’ locker room caused by the clashing egos of the team’s superstars, which reportedly played a role in forcing the hand of general manager Koby Altman to pull the trigger on those aforementioned trades. None of those issues, however, can be detected from the way Thomas intruded the comments section of Wade’s Instagram account.

Thomas signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the Nuggets earlier this month, while James is now with the Lakers after inking a four-year deal worth $153 million contract. As for Wade, he’s still undecided on his basketball future.
