The Denver Nuggets will play their biggest game of the season on Tuesday night when they take on the top-seeded Golden State Warriors. Luckily, they will be close to full strength with Jamal Murray likely to feature for the pivotal contest.

A win would put Denver into a tie with Golden State atop the Western Conference with only five games remaining, so the likely return of Murray is a much-needed boost for the team. Murray is previously sidelined with an ankle injury.

Jamal Murray originally sustained the injury in Denver's Sunday night loss to the Washington Wizards. Back-up Monté Morris was disappointing in Murray's absence, scoring only five points in 26 minutes.

This season, Murray has averaged 18.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists while shooting 43.7 percent. The youngster's third season has easily been his best, and he is developing into a great player. Drafted seventh overall in the 2016 draft, it looks like Murray is finally realizing his potential.

This season has been Denver's best in half a decade. At 51-25, they are just a game behind the Warriors and have already clinched their first postseason appearance since 2013.

The Warriors, on the other hand, are the reigning champions. They have been inconsistent this season but are still one of the league's top teams. Golden State is looking to add to its dynasty with their fourth title in the last five years.
