Jamal Murray has been fighting through a lot of injuries just to be able to stay on the floor for the Denver Nuggets this season. Following his team's 109-119 defeat at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs, the 23-year-old Canadian simply laughed it off when asked about the amount of pain he is dealing with at the moment.

“Man, how am I feeling? My elbow bruised. I got a sprain left shoulder. I hit my glute. I got a big bruise on my glute. It hurts to lift my leg and run. But it's fine. It's cool. I'm always good, man,” he said, as relayed by the Denver Post's Mike Singer.

Despite dealing with a myriad of issues, Jamal Murray continues to be a consistent force for head coach Mike Malone this season. He scored 20 points on 9-for-14 shooting from the field along with two made threes in 35 minutes against the Spurs. The Blue Arrow also flashed his all-around game with seven assists, six rebounds, two steals, and one block in the losing effort.

While it would be convenient for Murray to ask for some time off to nurse his injuries, he understands that Denver needs him on the floor to keep up with the powerhouse teams in the Western Conference. The loss dropped the Nuggets to 11-8 in the season (tied for fifth with the Spurs in the West), and also snapped their five-game winning streak.

Murray is averaging 19.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.1 steals entering Friday's road game versus San Antonio.
