The Denver Nuggets are embarking on their playoff run without starting point guard Jamal Murray, who is out with a season-ending injury. However, that hasn't stopped Murray from getting involved on the sidelines. In fact, Murray received a warning for his antics on the sidelines after Game 1 of the series versus the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Mike Singer of the Denver Post.
Heard Malone on @AltitudeSR today.
He said the NBA reached out after Game 1 and told them Jamal Murray had to calm down on the sidelines (!).
Malone said he saw Murray before Game 2 and told him, ‘Hey man, I do not want to see you pass me on the bench tonight.’” (!!)

Yeah, Murray needs to be careful. Even though he isn't playing, he's been extremely active on the sidelines. From his commentary with Blazers reserve Zach Collins to his sideline coaching, he continues to be a vocal leader as the Nuggets push forth in their playoff pursuit.

Murray is doing his part, but he needs to be careful not to get disciplined by the league office. Of course, here's the incident with Collins from Game 1 that provided some extra flares and drama between the two teams.
Re-watched Game 1. After Jamal Murray barked at Portland’s bench, it looks *a lot* like Zach Collins flipped him the double-bird after Carmelo’s 3-pointer. pic.twitter.com/VjbvnGWy08

Nonetheless, Murray needs to resist the urge and head coach Michael (not Mike!) Malone needs to keep his injured star point guard under control on the sidelines. As the series tightens and gets more dramatic, it will be interesting to watch Murray's sideline tactics.
The Blazers took Game 1 before the Nuggets responded in a huge way to win Game 2 by 19 points as the series heads to Portland.
