Jamal Murray won't be playing on Monday night for the Denver Nuggets as they look to extend their winning streak to three when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies.

Murray has already missed the Nuggets' game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to his ankle injury, and while it doesn't seem to be serious, the 21-year-old guard isn't able to play through it either.

The three-year veteran is having a career year with the Nuggets, averaging 18.5 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 43.2 percent from the field.

Denver has been able to avoid major injury issues to its key players this season, as only Paul Millsap and Gary Harris have missed a significant amount of time. Denver's ability to remain healthy has helped them a lot this season, as they are still able to hang with the Golden State Warriors and keep their chances of earning the top seed in the Western Conference alive.

Murray's absence isn't expected to hurt the Nuggets that much, as they will be facing a Grizzlies team that has lost nine of its last 10 games. Nikola Jokic is expected to carry most of the scoring load for Denver, while Harris, Millsap, and Malik Beasley are expected to back him up.
