It has been a long road to recovery for Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray over the past couple of months.

Murray tore his ACL during a regular season matchup against the Golden State Warriors. Even as the Nuggets were deemed as a dark horse NBA title contender, their championship aspirations were essentially dashed as Murray missed the remainder of the season.

Murray has been cautious in his injury rehab process as of late. But he did recently provide Nuggets fans with a major update ahead of the upcoming season.

In an Instagram story (via Katy Winge on Twitter), Murray posted a video confirming that his bounce is indeed back. In Denver's training facility, Murray hanged on the rim for a bit to the delight of Nuggets fans.

Murray has made tremendous progress from his injury over the past month. He has reportedly been taking part in light running activities and last week, he began to once again shoot the ball.

The Nuggets have not yet provided a definitive date as to just when Murray will receive the green light to return to the court. The team's front office will surely continue to monitor his progress in order to prevent him from undergoing any setbacks with his injury process.

With a healthy Murray, the Nuggets are expected to be among the serious contenders in the Western Conference next season. Still, it will be noteworthy to see on just how long it will take him to return to All-Star form once again.
