The 2020 Western Conference Finals is going to be special for Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray, as he'll be facing his idol, Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James.

During an interview with Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Murray spoke about going up against James and the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals (segment starts at 5:44):

Jamal Murray and the Nuggets shocked the NBA world in the second round by taking out the mighty Los Angeles Clippers in seven epic games. Denver made history by erasing its second-straight 3-1 series deficit.

Certainly, the team continues to show there's nothing that can faze them.

However, LeBron James and the Lakers are clearly a different animal, so Murray and the Nuggets can't afford to go down 3-1 to The King and his crew, who racked up the best record in the West this season.

Thus far in the 2020 playoffs, Murray has been nothing short of spectacular. The Nuggets' floor general is averaging 27.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game while shooting 50.2 percent from the field, 49.1 percent from beyond the arc and 91.3 percent from the free-throw line.

For Denver to pull off yet another upset, Murray and All-Star center Nikola Jokic will have to continue their superstar play.

It is definitely going to be a lot of fun to watch Murray and Jokic go head-to-head with James and Anthony Davis in a seven-game series to decide who will advance to the NBA Finals at Walt Disney World.
