It looks like Jamal Murray's return to the Denver Nuggets is on the horizon.

After missing all of the 2021-22 season as he recovers from the ACL injury he sustained in 2020-21, Murray seems to be getting back to full health. And in the latest positive update for the Nuggets guard, he was spotted working out with the team in their Summer League practice on Tuesday.

Various Nuggets reporters corroborated the sighting, with Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports noting that Murray was, in fact, in attendance. Adam Mares of DNVR Sports and Mike Singer of Denver Post then noted that the veteran guard saw some live action as he works his way back to game shape.

Nikola Jokic and Nuggets fans certainly couldn't wish for a better update than that. Jamal Murray is Denver's second best player behind the two-time MVP, averaging 21.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals in his last healthy year. With that said, getting him back is critical in their title aspirations for next season.

While there were hopes that Murray could play late in the second half of the past campaign, it was eventually made clear that he was far from being ready for a game. He did make notable progress back in April, being able to get his bounce back and shooting the ball.

With the latest update on his recovery and rehab, though, it looks more and more likely that he will be in full health and ready to play for the Nuggets when the 2022-23 season starts.
