The Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs are currently tied in their best-of-seven series at two games apiece, and as they prepare themselves for the pivotal Game 5, expect both teams to make necessary adjustments to push the series in their favor.

The Nuggets-Spurs series is undoubtedly the most competitive in these playoffs. Every time one team wins, the other team bounces back to even things up. With the Nuggets winning Game 4 at San Antonio, it is imperative for Spurs coach Gregg Popovich to make adjustments.

Nuggets coach Michael Malone knows how good Popovich is when it comes to that. He even compared the future Hall of Famer to one of chess' greatest players, Bobby Fischer. However, Malone said he isn't that worried about what his counterpart will do in the next Game.

Despite coming into the playoffs as the second seed in the Western Conference, the Nuggets haven't been able to make quick work of the Spurs. Although the home-court advantage is still in their favor, San Antonio has already shown them that they can be beaten at Mile High city.

Popovich and the Spurs have the advantage when it comes to experience, but Malone is ready to play chess with one of the greatest minds in the history of basketball.

The series heads back to Denver for Game 5 on Tuesday night, and one of these teams could push the other to the brink of elimination.
