Before the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers tipped off Game 5 of their second-round series, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley said Michael Malone's group was going to lose the contest and go home.

Barkley doubled down on his prediction at halftime by saying the Clippers were going to beat the Nuggets by 20.

As has been the case throughout the 2020 playoffs, though, Barkley's prediction didn't come to fruition and Malone had a playful reaction to Chuck's comments during his postgame media session with Nuggets reporters after Denver won Game 5 in stunning fashion.

Michael Malone and the Nuggets erased a 3-1 series deficit in the first round of the playoffs against the Utah Jazz. Now, Denver is trying to accomplish the same feat versus the Clippers.

However, Game 6 is going to be a dog fight for the Nuggets, as Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard is probably going to come out really aggressive to try and put Denver away early. Nuggets fans are probably hoping that Charles Barkley picks Los Angeles again to win Game 6, as he's been terrible with his predictions in these bubble playoffs.

For Denver to win Game 6, Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, Paul Millsap, Gary Harris and Michael Porter Jr. each have to play their best games of the season.
