Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone believes star big man Nikola Jokic will be an NBA Hall of Famer one day.

Nikola Jokic is one of the most versatile players in the league. Not only is he a great scorer and rebounder, but he's arguably one of the best passers in the game.

Entering Thursday, Nikola Jokic is averaging 7.6 assists per game. That's eighth in the NBA. Jokic is averaging more assists than LeBron James, Mike Conley, Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker, Ricky Rubio and Damian Lillard, players who all play the point guard position for their respective teams. It just shows how special of a talent Jokic is.

Besides his high assist numbers, Nikola Jokic is also averaging 17.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field, 29.0 percent from beyond the arc and 83.2 percent from the free-throw line. Denver is 18-9 on the year, first place in the rugged Western Conference and Jokic’s stellar play is the main reason why the team is playing well.

Jokic already has two triple-doubles on the season. He’s dished out double-digit assists seven times in 27 starts this year. If he can keep this production up for his entire career, Michael Malone might be right with his prediction.
