Denver Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr. made some waves when he liked an Instagram post calling fellow rookie Luka Doncic overrated. Doncic's former teammate in Europe, Dino Radoncic, responded by throwing shade at Porter and saying the Nuggets rookie is the one who's overrated.

Porter and the Dallas Mavericks rookie were together at the NBA Rookie Photo Shoot on Sunday, and the Nuggets' first-year player buried the hatchet, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg.

“So what's crazy is that blew up,” Porter said. “Believe it or not, I'm scrolling through [a post about] the Rookie of the Year odds and I accidentally like a comment. This is the EuroLeague MVP and I got nothing but respect for him. I was like, ‘Man, I didn't want to come off like that.'

“I reached out to [Doncic], told him it was 100 percent accident and I told him, ‘I can't wait to see what you do in the league.' I wasn't worried about what fans thought, but I wanted to let him know instantly. It was 100 percent accident.”

Whether it was actually an accident or not, it seems Porter and Doncic have moved past the incident and put it behind them.

Porter is also trying to move past the back problems that have plagued him and forced him to fall to No. 14 in the draft. He just recently underwent a second back surgery after nearly missing his entire freshman season at Missouri due to back surgery, but he's feeling better now and hoping he'll be able to play as a rookie. There have been some rumblings that he may sit out his entire rookie campaign, but he's hoping to avoid that.
