Denver Nuggets guard Nick Young is very excited about getting another opportunity to showcase his skills in the NBA.

Young joined the Nuggets on Dec. 10 after being a free agent following his stay with the Golden State Warriors during the 2017-18 season.

He returned to the court in the team's Friday night win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he scored six points and made two of three attempts from 3-point range in nine minutes of action.

Being back on the floor has Young thrilled about the chance to play the game he loves once again, according to Mike Singer of The Denver Post.

From Singer:

“Just gotta look at the good in everything,” Young told The Denver Post. “I’m blessed I’m here still after not knowing what was going to happen. This is my first time ever being in this situation. First time not being picked up out the first week for free agency. That was tough going through the summer not knowing it too. Got more time with my kids, and I kind of miss them (now).”

Young has made plenty of valuable contributions for various franchises throughout his career, and now he'll try to once again prove his worth for a very good Nuggets team.

Denver sits at 19-9 on the season after the win over the Thunder, which is good enough for the top spot in the Northwest Divison at the moment.

But the Nuggets will now prepare for a tough test on Sunday night as they host the Toronto Raptors.
