Nick Young was finally picked up by the Denver Nuggets, and the 33-year-old wing will be available in Denver's Monday night contest with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Harrison Wind of BSN Denver. Wind writes:

Nick Young has passed his physical and is going through shootaround with the Nuggets right now. He’ll be available tonight vs the Grizzlies if Michael Malone wants to use him.

Young was waiting on a call that never came this summer after parting ways with the Golden State Warriors following their championship run together. Injury woes in Denver finally opened the door for him to return to the league.

Injuries to Will Barton, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap, Michael Porter Jr., Isaiah Thomas, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Jamal Murray (though his injury supposedly isn't serious) are decimating the roster. Swaggy P has his deficiencies, but he's still a capable NBA player with a sweet shooting stroke.

Young will definitely be a welcome addition to head coach Mike Malone's lineups, even if he has the Denver coaching staff pulling their hair out at times. Well, Malone won't be doing that, but you understand the gist of it. Young can be a frustrating player to coach, but there's a reason he's still signing contracts at 33.

He can flat out score, and that's something the Nuggets will need if they are missing some of their best scorers, most notably Gary Harris, who is a mainstay in the starting lineup. Malone will probably ease Young into his rotations, but don't be surprised if he's playing on Monday night against the Grizzlies.
