Great news for Colorado residents and fans of passing big men alike: Denver Nuggets star player Nikola Jokic is on his way to Orlando, Florida. The Serbian center was officially cleared of the coronavirus and has been permitted to travel to the NBA Disney World bubble, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

As recently as two weeks ago, Jokic had tested positive for the virus that caused this entire pandemic. He was still in his native Serbia and has spent the last couple of weeks in self quarantine while recovering to good health in order to join his Nuggets teammates

But now that the burly (or not so burly anymore?) big man has recovered in full, he's been admitted to join his team in a couple of days for the NBA's restart. The 25-year-old unicorn is averaging 20.2 points a night while adding on 10.2 rebounds as well. He also dishes out 6.9 assists per game, most of which are highlight-reel worthy plays that have fans smashing the replay button.

It's speculated that he may have gotten the virus from fellow Serbian tennis superstar Novak Djokovic. Djokovic and his wife both tested positive for the virus shortly after posting videos appearing with Jokic as well.

It comes as a true relief for the NBA, Nuggets fans, and the spirit of competition as a whole that one of the Western Conference's top teams has their front man back.

The NBA is already dealing with the blows from a couple of key stars sitting out. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets were already scheduled to miss the games due to injuries.

But more recently, Indiana Pacers talisman Victor Oladipo and D.C. Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal are also going to be out of commission.

Nikola Jokic was indeed expected to make a full recovery for the Nuggets in the first place. But as we've all been witness to throughout this entire ordeal, this pandemic has been anything but what we expected.
